As my Pilates instructor, Joanne really made me obsessed with Pilates and make me look forward to her classes every week! I was only a beginner when I first started. Despite this, I did not ever struggle to comprehend her explanations of each movement during class. She is attentive, and clear with articulation of the different exercises. Additionally, her understanding of the body’s anatomy allowed her to help me pinpoint the specific areas I had to work on (e.g. my hypermobility of my spine). This also allowed her to adjust the exercises to my needs, alongside correcting my posture. Over time, I have felt tremendous improvement in my body’s health overall after attending her classes.
